Have you had a chance to work an oneg this year? Looking for an opportunity to meet new people or spend some time with Shir Tikvah friends? Volunteer to assist Sisterhood with the setting up/serving/cleaning up of a Bar or Bat Mitzvah Oneg. See what really goes on behind the scenes. It takes just a few hours of your time, and the rewards are great. You can help out just once, or on an ongoing basis. There was lunch, music, a silent auction, and loads of family-friendly fun as the third and final installment of Sisterhood’s Second Sunday Series for this year ended last month with Family Fun Day. Proceeds from the event were shared between CST’s Family Ed program and Sisterhood’s Restoring the Beautiful project. Thanks to all the wonderful people who worked so hard to make this event a success!

Sisterhood invites YOU to spend an afternoon at Comerica Park as the Detroit Tigers take on the Boston Red Sox on Sunday June 23 at 1:05 pm. We have mezzanine seating right across from the big scoreboard, and tickets would make a terrific Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift – or even a graduation gift! Tickets must be ordered by May 20.
