March 3-5, 2023: Artist-in-Residence Weekend with Rebekka Goldsmith
Congregation Shir Tikvah, in conjunction with the Membership Committee Presents : Artist-In-Residence Rebekka Goldsmith!!!
We are thrilled to announce a joyful weekend of creative, meaningful song, learning and prayer with professional artist, vocal coach and ritual leader Rebekka Goldsmith! All voices (and people) are welcome to join us for three days of dynamic programming for young and old alike.
With the weather forecast for this evening, we encourage everyone to please make the decision that is best for you and your family. Please note that our service tonight and the havdallah/concert tomorrow evening will both also be available by live stream at shirtikvah.org. While our oneg for this evening is canceled, we will have lots of delicious treats tomorrow evening. We hope that if you choose to stay home tonight you will consider joining us for our Saturday evening and Sunday morning programs in person. As always, our Sundays@Shul session offers a virtual option if accessibility needs preclude attending in-person (a link will be sent out on Sunday morning to those who have requested it in their registration).
The following is what you can expect from this fun weekend. CST members, please invite your family and friends and prospective members as we encourage anyone interested in getting to know Shir Tikvah better to join us!

During this session, we will learn and sing several different kinds of Jewish songs (wordless melodies, liturgical chants, prayer)to explore the ways that embodied music and silence can connect us more deeply to ourselves, each other, and the source of all living beings. Join Shir Tikvah’s artist-in-residence Rebekka Goldsmith on this soul lifting and widening musical journey. We’ll also leave some time at the end for conversation and questions about the session. Come if you love to sing. Come if you love the idea of singing. All voices are welcome. Let's sing! Register now!
